Smallville.

Don't you hate it when things available in the US are not available in Singapore? This ALWAYS happens. TMD. Just like how Abercrombie and Old Navy ban non-citizens of US from purchasing their sale apparels. And how things are always not catered for people living outside US.

TMD. Again. I just went to Amazon.com to check out Season 4 of Smallville. I wanted to make an order of the newest season just now so that it will arrive in time for my school break. I have been anxiously anticipating for the official release date of Smallville since like a century ago. Okie, I know I am exaggerating here. But you get my drift. The only problem now that it is released is that the encoding is for Region 1 only. Which means that I will not get the chance to watch it. Singapore is in Region 3. Why can't these retailers recognise the demand beyond America? Here, dudes! Here! *Waves madly at them*

And guess what? Season 5 is out! The premiere will be next Thursday. And Warner Brothers even produced a Supersized Smallville out today. Yay! This has been my only source of joy for the past few days. Knowing that Season 5 is out. But, TMD again. Season 5 will only be shown in the US. How sad can this be. Hopefully Channel 5 will show the latest season soon. Please, please. MediaCorp. Please show Smallville Season 5. Please, with a cherry on top.

I just want to fulfill my Lex-oggling and incessant Lana-ing fetish. Never mind that Season 4 was a tact too dark for my liking. And I hated Lois Lane in the show. My favorite will be Season 3 where the characters get the opportunity to develop themselves. Nevertheless, I do get a little tired of Smallville at times. I hate how Clark's want-to-tell or don't-want-to-tell attitude to Lana. Why can't he see Lana for who she is? If Clark just tells Lana about his powers, wouldn't things be so perfect? Anyway, Lana already told him that he doesn't really care if he is infected by the meteor rocks. Sigh. Everybody tells me that that is totally not the way to be a script writer. For all that matters, everybody knows that Lois Lane will end up with Clark Kent sooner or later. Clark will fly up to the sky and that is when everybody will say "That's a bird. No, that's a plane. No, it's Superman!"

Sigh. Since they already changed the beginnings of the orginal Superman, why can't they change a little bit more? If they turned arch-rivals Lex Luthor and Superman from the deadliest enemy to best friends in Smallville, why can't they let Lana be with Clark? They are such a pair of star-crossed lovers. Sigh.

Please, please..
Let Smallville Season 4 be released in Region 3 soon.
Let Smallville Season 5 air on Channel 5 soon.
And, please please let Lana be with Clark.

Apple Rocks!

Gosh. I finally saw the new iPod Nano. I know I am slow. This happens to anything related to technology for me. Saw the iPod Nano on Qimin's blog. So pretty!

It's so slim and sleek.

The best thing is that it is not as expensive as iPod or iPod Mini. 2GB for US$199. That is like a hell lot of memory. Why would a person even need so much memory? Unless you own a radio station or something. But the thing is that it is so pretty. Can't stop gushing over how classy and sleek it looks.

Guess what? I discovered something else. There is a limited edition U2 iPod! And it has their signatures on it.

Wow. In my opinion, U2 is like the bestest and most amazing band in the whole wide world. (Greenday is amazing too!) I can see Bono's signature on it!

I want a U2 iPod! But the minus point is that there is no radio. Also, I just bought my Creative mp3 barely a year ago. Hmm.. I think.. I will still want one!!

Depression. Expectations. Shopping.

Life hasn't been treating me well lately. At least that is how I feel all the time. I have been feeling extremely crummy and depressed. Feel as if I am PMS-ing all the time. It feels as if Dementors are around me. Just in case you are wondering, a Dementor is a character from JK Rowling's Harry Potter series. They are the most horrible, darkest and foulest creature around. Dementors suck the happiness out of everyone. Such that you feel as if you will never be happy again. That is exactly how I feel everyday.

Life is such an irony, isn't it? Everything in life has a standard. An expectation.

Nevertheless, it always seem as if the more you expect from something, the more you would not get it. I wouldn't call it expectation anymore. I call it a dream. An impossible dream. Delusions. No matter how hard you try you will never get it. That is probably why I should stop dreaming. And stop expecting. Maybe adopting a come what may attitude is always the best. Funny how things always work this way. Or coming back to an old topic, are our lives mapped out for us? Do you believe in destiny? Or do you believe that the future lies in our own hands? I am a pessimist. Therefore, I believe that everything in life is mapped out for us. Then what is the purpose of living then? If it is destined that you will wake up late for school tomorrow, why set the alarm? If it is destined that your life is to be a dump, then why bother working hard for it? What do you do when you are on the point of giving up?

I don't know. Who can really tell me what life is about?

Perhaps my blues is because of school. I have been extremely busy of late, which kind of explains why I haven't been blogging. (And not to mention the fact that I lost my password to blogger and had to rack the remaining of my already half dead brain for some clue.) Even though this is just Week 4 of school, I have been working like a house-elf. I need SPEW! Society for the Protection of Elfish Welfare. Sigh. Please don't mind my lack of humor here. I have barely enough time to sleep. On average, I sleep 5 hours a day. Which is an utter disgrace to my blog title. Maybe I need to change from iliketosleep to ineedtosleep because I REALLY need to sleep. Bloody hell. I have eyebags now!!! Yucks. I am totally swamped with work and it is an endless vicious cycle.

Or perhaps it is because I haven't had any shopping sprees for the past 2 to 3 months. Shopping ban lifted! Yay! Not shopping simply means that my bank account is growing. Double yay! I am going to treat myself soon. Shopping, I love!

My latest loves. Leather bags. I am simply S-O in love with leather bags. They are timeless and classic. An investment, in my opinion. Did you know that the value of an Hermes actually appreciates every year. You can actually sell it for a profit 10 years from now.

I especially love this Kate Spade Punched Noel Maddox. It is big enough to dump all the stuff that I have. In case you are wondering, I bring loads of stuff when I go out. Makeup case, umbrella, mp3, batteries and blah blah. And that excludes school stuff like files, textbooks, laptop and adapter. So your definition of big will probably be very different from mine.

And bloody hell again. I accidentally left a blue pen ink on my current white leather bag. It looks similar to the Punched Noel Maddox. Except that it is white. This bag burnt a big hole in my pocket. And I mean BIG. S-H-I-T! But all the more reason to buy a new bag! Heehee.

La Jolla Tricia is nice too. A very tribal feeling.

This Nylon Sam is also very pretty. It looks like real leather, doesn't it. But it is satin-finished.

This pink Nylon Audrey Baby Bag is so cool. Some people call it the diaper bag.. because it is created for diapers, I guess.

I love classic and sleek design. Some might find them plain. But I would gladly pick a clean and chic design over a flowery patterned one anytime.
A bit off topic here. Chao Chia from http://www.life-is-amusing.blogspot.com/ asked me to list 5 of my weirdest habits.
This is difficult. Because I have TOO many weird habits.
1. I love Coke Light. That is weird to my friends who complain everytime I drink it. They claim that it tastes flat. And that I am very much deluded by the 0 calorie claim. But who cares. I feel much healthier when I drink Coke Light.
2. I like to bring loads of stuff when I go out. Even though it is not necessary. But then again who cares? Carrying an empty bag out sounds weirder to me.
3. I like to wear sweaters and jackets. Even though this is tropical Singapore. Sweaters and jackets are SO cool. They make or break a look. And who cares if it is hot and humid. I look good and this is all that matters.
4. I can watch a movie or listen to a song over and over again. Till the point that I can memorise the actor's dialogues and predict the exact moment in which something is going to happen.
5. Finally, I like to sleep! My longest record is 12am to 6pm. In fact, I am surprised that my parents didn't think I was dead or something.
